She looked down at the paper, sipping her own rum.
“You are in my village, Thonapa,” she said, “And if that is the temple I am thinking of, you’re probably looking for the lost city of Paititi with the temple of Apuillapu.” She glanced over at him, “The Sun God. Any of that ring a bell?”

“Aye, it all rings a bell.” He grinned. “Can ye ‘elp me find it? I need somethin’ from that temple. I can pay ye, if ye need.” He leaned back and pulled out a bag of gold. “Me employer, ‘e wants somethin’ from there, a- bugger. I forgot.”

She laughed a little. He was so strange, but he was sweet.
“Well, the temple houses a massive library- but I highly doubt that’s what you want. Gold, jewels, normal lost temple things. Ah, maybe he’s talking about the idol…” she mused to herself.
